I view any money that I earn in VL as my “playcheque” and I’ve given myself permission to spend it on things that appeal to me. It reminds me of when I was a kid and had $20 in my pocket that I had earned from my part time jobs. I was free to spend it on anything I wanted but once the cash was gone the spending was over. I like living like that, it makes life so much easier.
The picture is from the musical “Bat Out Of Hell” where we had a really good time at the show. I bought the best tickets, 4th row middle, that my playcheque allowed. It seemed we were surrounded by fellow boomers many looked and acted like they probably owned their own motorcycles.
Note to self: You need to schedule time to finally get that motorcycle license!
